Flying...

by the seat of my pants. These days are going fast, folks. Really, really fast. Work has resumed. My time at home is limited. My heart hurts over it. But work is good. It provides for us and meets our needs. And so, to work I go these three days a week.

Everybody said that watching your first love on your second is precious and fulfilling. I have to say that it's way more than that. Way more.

I had big plans of making a roasted chicken tonight. Got home from work and my bird's insides were still frozen. Dang bird. Lucky for me, I didn't have to clean up the kitchen. I loaded up the girls and we met daddy for cheese quesadillas and draft beer (at least for us grown ups). It was a wonderful and unexpected change of plans.

I'm tired and weary. Getting in the swing of things is kinda hard. But we do it. To God be the glory.

I was thinking about you today and wondering how the new schedule was going.

Quesadillas and draft beer sounds like a great dinner!

Yes- watching the two interact is a something harmonious that no words can describe. I seek to create it every hour to keep me going :) I sure do love a night off of kitchen duty! Love to you guys!

Sisters are the best! It just keeps getting better (not counting the quibbling over a specific princess doll). :-)

Sibling love is something too incredible to even describe...and it just gets better and better.
Would it make you feel better if I told you 18 months into this multiple children deal I'm still flying by the seed of my pants as well?

I love your comment about "work is good." Because for those of us that choose or have to do it, sometimes it doesn't feel good. But you're right, it provides for our family, and I'm fortunate to have a job. Thanks for the spiritual lift.
