Forgetful

I forgot to replace my gas cap the other day. Drove off and left the dang thing on the trunk of my Honda. At least I remembered to take the hose out of my tank before I headed off. I went back to the gas station to inquire if one had been turned in. They laughed.

And then a few days ago, I lost my camera lens cap in a cotton field. It must have popped out of my back pocket when I adjusted my keys in the same pocket. Sweet Love of My Life offered to go find it....after Little One's and my hide and seek game among the stalks took us through nearly half the field. I laughed.

Life is in full swing with projects and preparations for bebe and whining and disciplining and watching Barney. BARNEY, y'all. Not my choice of mindless entertainment. It is through her obsession with that dreadful dinosaur that Little One is excercising manipulation. When asked for the 5 millionth time if we can watch Barney and again told no, LO responded, "Well Mama, I can watch Barney so you can do laundry." That was pretty enticing, I must say.

LOML and I went to a wedding this weekend. Youtube taught me how to tie his bowtie. He was pretty cute in that tux. We stayed out really late...like 11! Whenever we get home that late, there's something absolutely irresistable about kissing Little One goodnight. And so we did. And we stood over her bed and watched her sleep for a minute. Someone told me that when you watch your children sleep, all of life just makes sense... And it does.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE her response to being told NO to Barney! Clever little sucker! However I have no idea how you are able to put up with the purple dinosaur.

Girl....we have GOT to get together before these babies are born. As soon as we get back from our trip we are scheduling something........ANYTHING! We miss y'all!

So funny! I had a college girlfriend that did drive off with the hose still attached to her car. She wasn't pregnant. So see...you're doing GREAT! :-) Helen is also addicted to TV. Nothing specific. Just TV. So frustrating, but sometimes it's a necessary evil. I always want to scoop my babies up when we go in after a date to kiss them goodnight. So precious...
