Hiya

Just living the dream over here, folks. We've been busy getting settled in to a new house, a big girl bed, the routine of school....we have a lot on our plates. To be honest, my heart is weary. I am tired. This is such a sweet season of life and I am flat worn out.

I'm out of ideas for suppers. Out of ideas for decent maternity fashion. Out of ideas for fun things to do with Little One on my days off. I think I've just been making too many decisions lately and my creative juices aren't flowing. Hence my blog hiatus. My reading hiatus. My cooking fun new things hiatus.

Bottom line, I've been in a funk. Down on the mother-hood, work-hood, marriage-hood funk. I'm feeling an upswing coming on. It started when I was awakened at 6:15 to a two year old's rendition of Jingle Bells. At the top of her lungs. I mean, I'm pretty sure that doesn't happen to many people. So much better than my alarm. Here's to a weekend spent ridding myself of the funk!

You and LO are too cute. I love the growing girl AND the growing belly. :)

I totally know what you mean. I felt like I was in a funk for a lot of this year. It is hard going from one to two babies, no matter how excited you are. Actually, knowing that the precious time with one is almost over to pretty hard too. But hang in there. It will all come together perfectly. The Lord is in control of all the details. Isn't that so great?
