And then watering the new flagstone path. And then the new plants that haven't been planted. And then her belly, her feet, my shoes, the steps. Busy little thing, figuring it all out.
I'm trying not to say "no" as much, but rather embrace her ideas and roll with them....hence the watering of every surface in our backyard this morning. And after she was finished watering, she declared "baf time, mama. Durt on me." Which led to a 45 minute bath time without actually being bathed. It was relaxing for the both of us. Have you read the new House Beautiful? I have now!
We are looking forward to a long, do nothing but enjoy each other weekend. Hope yours is a good one.

Love these pictures! She's so cute!
I'm trying to say "yes," too. If it's not destructive or dangerous or unkind, I'm willing myself to allow it. :)
She is sooooo cute!!! I can't wait to see her and kiss those precious cheeks!!! XOXO!
Adorable! H is really into "helping" me with everything lately. I'm praying for patience because tasks get done a lot more slowly. We should meet with the girls for gelatto at Cheffie's some afternoon. Or meet without them after bedtime! :-)
I love this. The hams are so smoochable. We might be able to have a competition on the diameter on those sweet little pieces of meat. :)
My girl is quite the helper, also.Imagine that! She likes to help hold the hose while I water. She takes the job very seriously. I'm glad you mentioned catching up on your reading material during bath time. I've moved my stack of magazines to her bathroom, and I'm beginning to make progress with my "reading." :)
i just found your blog, and we have so much in common! my husband and i (of 4.5 years) also have a family/marriage blog, and we love God--and Dave Ramsey! nice to "meet" you! :)
