Something terrible happened this morning.
Devastating, I tell you. I pulled on my favorite pair of school pants. But it was more of a forceful pull today. And as I fastened and zipped them up, I sensed my flesh being squeezed a bit more than I'm used to. A quick look at my behind in the mirror and I knew that my choice of today's outfit had to change...and perhaps my addiction to all things sweet, half and half in my coffee, and pasta dishes that call for heavy cream.

My
excuse explanation is that things just kind of shifted after Little One quit nursing. And it
could have something to do with the fact that I have not resumed any
exercise to burn those calories except chasing LO around. My "top half" shrunk and my "bottom half" grew. It's an unfortunate truth. One that I will learn to live with. And I guess I'll have to find a pair of replacement pants. And use skim milk as my creamer. And not cook anything with cream. Oh man, I'm going to need some accountability.

SO funny that you typed this because I was just telling John this exact thing!!! I felt so lean when I was pumping and I was the thinnest I had been since high school. Since last December, I haven't done really any major exercise and it is showing!!! Glad bathing suit season is OVER. And I am with you on not cooking things with heavy cream-PW has been my recipe of choice lately and everything it seems that she makes uses heavy cream :)
Eh, just buy the replacemet pants and enjoy your heavy cream pasta dishes! ;)
ME TOO! All those Muddy's cupcakes I ate while preggo haven't come off so easy......:)
