The Newest {toy} Addition

I picked this little dollie high chair up out of a trash pile. What a sweet find! After a good scrub down with a magic eraser, it's good as new! Little One really likes it, too. Especially slamming the tray down over and over again. It makes the loveliest sound.

Not to brag or anything, ehem, but I also made another fantastic discovery at the thrift store recently. In perfect condition, a children's melon colored Vineyard Vines fleece vest. I paid a whopping TWO bucks for it. I was on cloud nine the rest of the day.

The constant in both instances of trash to treasure finds was my friend Christy. She has amazing digging talents. That trash pile I mentioned? Yeah, Christy dug through the boxes while I held the flashlight. I wasn't about to touch some of that stuff, but she was sifting for gold. I could learn a thing or two from that girl.
**Wait a minute! Just after posting, I checked on ebay for one of those high chairs. 65 dollars?!?! Although it's missing the little counting beads, mine is in way better condition! I love a good find...

fantastic find on the high chair! Stuff like that is my favorite! I love to dig through yard sales and thrift stores for my favorite toys of my youth. Unfortunately that stuff is considered "vintage" now and goes for a pretty penny! Since when did I become vintage???
