Valentine's Schmalentine's

I've never been a big Valentine's day celebrating person. Perhaps it's because it puts a cliche on all loving relationships and makes the lonely feel even lonlier. Or maybe it's because I experienced my first kiss on Valentine's day (talk about a cliche)...in a maroon red acura, with three red roses sitting in my lap. I'm pretty sure we had eaten dinner at O'Charley's. I was 15 (a late bloomer, some would say). Regardless, Love of My Life and I refrain from the gifty-ness of February 14th.

However, I felt so loved as my precious husband took 2 hours to wash my car! And he even agreed to scrub the shower (since I can't really bend over). How romantic. Who needs chocolalate when you can get a clean car? Thank you, love.
