Happy President's Day

I'd like to thank the government for giving me such a useful day off work. It's not quite as fantastic as an unexpected snow day, but I'll take it. Since Emilee's bathrooms were out of commission due to some home improvements, we cancelled our smocking lesson. We didn't figure it was the best idea considering our pregnancy needs...like a bathroom (she's due March 26, I'm the day after!). So, this is what I did this afternoon:




I used a lot of leftover linen from the nursery, as well as grossgrain ribbons that had been tied to gifts! (Mom, aren't you proud?) I'm stock piling these babies to give as gifts.

And thank goodness, our house no longer looks like this:


We (baby and me) have been working VERY hard!
