Cafeteria Cleanliness

Random picture to keep you interested (my sister and me...18 weeks vs 32 weeks preggers- and don't we have some nice white teeth!!):

This morning, I was running a little behind schedule and decided to supplement my lunch with whatever they were serving in the cafeteria. This can be pretty dangerous but it was the perfect day to be late, seeing as they were cooking up some chicken fingers and mashed potatoes. Sweet. So I stand in line, place my order and watch in horror as the sweet little lady behind the heating tables licks leftover mashed potatoes off of her gloved index finger and proceeds to pick up two chicken fingers intended for me, with her contaminated hand. I quickly told her that I had changed my mind. For the love.

So rather than having chicken fingers to replace my peanut butter sandwich, I scrounged up a homemade strawberry cupcake from a 1st grader's birthday celebration. As long as I don't see you lick the icing off your finger while preparing the cupcakes, I'm alright. :)

And cheers to Michele and Marcus and the birth of their second daughter this morning. Congratulations, friends!
