I am a lucky woman...my man keeps his word. Love of My Life promised me that the nursery walls would be "ready to paint" by the time duck season opens the weekend before Thanksgiving. Not only are the walls ready to paint, they are painted! LOML built the drapery pockets (whoa...he just keeps on impressing me!) and installed the two piece crown. I've got the fabric for the drapes, just not the motivation to make them yet. The chandelier was dug out of a trash pile from the former resident of our home. All we had to do was remove all of the red and green tassles (no, I'm not kidding) and coat it in spray paint. Now that duck season is finally rolling around, there will be plenty of little projects to keep this hunter's widow busy.
