Spring

This is our first spring here in our new home. It's been like Christmas every morning as we look out to see what has bloomed. The dogwoods, the azaleas, the hydrangeas starting to green. The backyard here was the deal maker for me when we were looking to purchase a new house. I could handle another closet laundry nook if I could have that backyard. It's established mile high azaleas, holly trees that provide such privacy and a huge old oak that my girls and I enjoy gazing into while laying atop my great grandmother's quilt make the lack of other little things more than tolerable. And we are soaking up every second we can enjoying it! While I'm not one to normally take pictures of flowers and share them here, I can't resist.

And to put things into perspective....
