Little One is big into announcing herself these days. It's pretty common to hear "here me is!" at any given entrance. And I find it pretty appropriate to re-introduce myself after my weeks of hiding. So without further ado, "here me is!!"
Things are kicking around here. Literally. Bebe or "Frederick" as Little One lovingly calls the baby in my tummy (and the one in hers) has been bouncing around in my womb. What a sweet reminder of God's miracle! While my body is refusing to relinquish morning sickness, I'm feeling a little more like myself. I am ready to look back and say, "whew! I'm glad I'm through with that!"
i wish you could see her expression better. hilarious.
Summer mornings are divine. I love the laziness, the pulling on shorts with the t-shirts we slept in as clothes for the day, the long visits to the library, the picnic breakfasts and lunches on the den floor. And as for afternoons, we spend most of them eating popsicles (24 Kool-Pops for $1 at the Dollar Tree...best dollar you can spend!) in the baby pool out back. Or running through the sprinkler. For a girl terrified of big pools of water, Little One sure does love her little pool and "hello-kitty-copter" sprinkler. Do y'all do swim diapers when you're at your own house? I don't know what to do here. Those jokers are expensive, even if you can re-use them (wash immediately in machine and let air dry...a trick I learned last summer. I'm willing to reuse 3 times).
check out the creepy guy over my right shoulder. eek.

Welcome back! And congrats on the new house...how exciting! Love seeing you in the cute pictures. Hope you'll be feeling great soon!
Oh the packing! I share your pain. I am so, so thankful we sold our house quickly, but sheesh... three weeks to pack up four years worth of stuff. Oh and no plan as to where we might be going. Prayers that your transition goes smoothly and your morning sickness retreats soon. I know that pain too. No fun. XO, E
Your summer days sound a lot like ours have been lately...love it! As for swim diapers - those things are way too expensive so we only use them when going to a public pool! We use cloth diapers and while I don't put those on under her bathing suit, usually EC just ends up in her baby pool with her play clothes on so we don't worry about it - either that or she pulls her clothes off and just runs around in the water naked :) (I guess since we live in the middle of the woods, that is acceptable!)
I just have to say that i don't use swim diapers at home...no way!
You look wonderful!! I want more pics of you!
Katie, just a random comment from me about the swim diapers. I use iplay swim diapers for Whit and they are wonderful! They work really well and you just take them off and wash them. They make patterned ones but I bought the white ones to go under his bathing suit.
swim diapers at home?? never! check out my latest post for a testimonial photo!
miss you!
