Whew.

We had a wonderful Christmas. It was fast paced, jam packed, and completely uneventful save for the blizzard of 2010 that left us sitting still on the interstate for 2 hours.

We're pretty worn out. Little One is working on a four hour nap as I type. She's sleeping off the remains of a double ear infection and lots of playing hard with all that Santa brought her. I am just about baby-dolled and tea-partied out. LOML is outside sucking up the leaves that fell in our absence. But this is only after he loaded up a portion of his ammunition of new shot gun shells in a new Rambo-esque camo vest. He wore it around the house for just a little while. I asked if he was set for duck seasons for the rest of history. He kinda snickered and I haven't decided if that was because the answer is yes, or because the answer is no. I'm thinking it's the latter.

We spent 12 hours in the car yesterday. Little One amazes me with her kindness and sweet attitude about car confinement. She really does very well. She might have been a tad bit geeked out on Baby Einstein DVDs but I'll take it. During those 12 hours, LOML and I talked resolutions. We tossed a few ideas back and forth...mainly ways that we can better love the other. While I won't tell you what our resolution is specifically, I will say that it is largely influenced by Mr. and Mrs. Loerke. Go and read and see what you can come up with.

Happy New Year to you all!
