My dogs are barkin'

Hi, I'm 27 years old and I have a bunion.

Yes, a bunion. Like what those little old ladies have that make their feet look icky in their nude hose and sandals. Got one. Check that off the bucket list. It's nearly killing me these days. Throbbing. Hurting. Constantly. I learned on Little One's birthday that I have a freakishly high pain tolerance. And this is painful. Maybe I should invest in a bunion regulator?

I also am so blind that I have to put on my glasses to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. There's a period of my life that has been blotted out of all the photo albums...from about 2nd-4th grade. My precious mother lovingly allowed me to select my very first pair of glasses frames. I love her for letting me have my opinions. I only hate the fact that my mature fashion sense led me to pick out the LARGEST frames you've ever seen. Promise. And they were two tone- a translucent brown on top, pink on bottom. Currently, I have no evidence of said glasses. Late 4th grade brought a real nice change, visible here. Would you believe that those are waaaay better? Like 1/2 the size of my first pair. Sheesh.

LOML and I are in bed by 9:00 nearly every night. I bruise easily. The interstate makes me nervous. And I actually got a letter from AARP the other day. I'm kinda feeling a little geriatric. If 27 is so old, I'm in some trouble, huh?

I remember you in those glasses. Loved it!! And I have a memory of one time you walking up to your mom and saying, "I really think I am starting to fill out..." She assured your tiny self you were. Ahhh, to have that problem now myself!

LOL threw this entire post. I'll be 30 in Nov and I feel the exact same way...we're too young to be falling apart already! HA!

I love "a little geriatric." That's hilarious! If you're a little geriatric at 27, I'm not sure what we would call 32 for me!

Just wait until you are OVER 30 AND pregnant with baby #2. Talk about EVERYTHING aching. It's pitiful! And I still have 8-10 weeks to go!

Oh Sister! Perhaps you stand to inherit a bunion regulator from your maternal grandmother... :) Would a corn remover do the trick? hee hee.

I remember those glasses well! You and Bongoo!

Love you and miss you!~jenn
