We had a lovely Labor Day weekend, enjoying the company of Love of My Life's mom and dad. It is such a treat when they come. Little One was in heaven. In fact, we didn't see a single meltdown "temper tamper" the whole time they were here. That's saying something.
We took advantage of the cold snap and played at the zoo. LOML and his dad nearly finished the fence LOML has been building for a lady down the street. And Little One got some adorable new kicks (some snazzy red t-straps that she is uber proud of AND a pair of real tennis shoes).
Most of you probably don't know what thick little feet LO has. They're wide and have a nice chunky fat pad on top. This makes finding winter shoes quite difficult. I'm sure we tried 12 different types of shoes before finally finding a brand that worked. Angel shoes are the ONLY ones that didn't make her foot look like bread dough rising out of the pan. Bless her.

So cute!!! Miss her! Not that you asked, but I have a friend whose girls all have feet like Little One's. She's a classy, "with it" lady, and she has found some adorable shoes that fit perfectly at Payless.
Ok, love you! Miss you!
We seem to have the same shoes issue. It really saddens this shoe loving mama.
awww, I love LO's pudgy little feet! :)
This is crazy. We have the same chubby, sweet fat feet, the same book, a very similar dress, and that precious little straight blondy head. BFF from Bham sends her love to MT :)
P.S. That's a great family pic!
My L.O. has the same chubby feet issue - sounds like its a common problem. Why don't they make bigger shoes? Glad you found some. So cute!
That probably means she's destined to have the insanely high arches that her Daddy and I have... just wait until you try to put strappy shoes on THOSE. UGH!
So cute! I love it when NayNay and Papaw come to visit too- almost as much as I love it when I go to their house!!! D. says I totally shirk my mommy duties when I'm there. Can't help it... :-)
