The week's end...whew

It was a quick one, this past weekend. We were busy little bees.

We did a lot of sidewalk chalk drawing. And I mean a LOT.

Some swinging.

A good bit of deep thinking. Very deep thinking.

We enjoyed a quick trip to the zoo, and a nice picnic lunch while there. This was the first time Little One really paid attention to the animals. It was pretty fun to watch her discovering God's creativity in His design.

I hit up a few yard sales while Little One napped on Saturday morning. I scored 2 fantastic large blue glass Atlas mason jars. $3 each. I would have bought all 20 of them if I weren't so darn cheap. I can see them full of Then I made some burp cloths for a baby shower, trying out a new ruffle technique. I was pleased.

We finished out the weekend with two cups of coffee before church this morning, a baby shower, and then our church's annual vision meeting. A great weekend, indeed.

Also, adorable burp cloths!
She is such a cutie! I adore all of her summer dresses. She will thank you one day for dressing her so cute!

Those are the cutest burp cloths I've ever seen. And your weekend sounds just delightful.

To answer your question about my photo collage...I use Picasa, google's free photo editing software. It took me a while to figure out all the ins and outs of the program, but I love it!
