It's amazing how you can fall right back in a routine when you have to. I love a routine. I love structure. It's probably why I can't go to bed until the toys are picked up and the sink is empty. Or maybe that's obsessive.
Anyway, I carried our Wednesday routine through the summer. And as yesterday was the first Wednesday of the new school year, it worked out quite nicely. Wednesdays are always sheet changing days, grocery shopping days, and play at home in the afternoon days. And it is so, SO lovely.
I think Little One likes that she knows what to expect. I think she really likes drinking from the hose. And I think that I really like her ridiculous bathing suit (a birthday gift for our little bunny).
I am so deeply grateful to my administrators, that I still have my Wednesdays and Fridays. How very generous of them. Do you think they realize the gift they have given me in my part-time-ness?
And just as a little update, LO napped a bit better this week (1.5 hours is better than nothing), she's resumed sleeping through the night (knock on wood), chicken still gets the tongue thrust, and I'm a bit more rested. Whew.

I love your pictures of LO! It makes me want to learn to take better pictures - I'm such a novice! I don't know how to work my camera manually at all. One day...
P still only has about 8 teeth (I think, I'm definitely attempting to stick my hand in her mouth, and she won't open up on command), but I see LO has A TON! I am NOT looking forward to the teething symptoms LO has had - I need my sleep!
