Bringing out the big guns

Because my child has spent the past few days wearing bowls on her head and licking lemons for entertainment, I decided it was high time I bring out the big guns.

This morning, I took Little One to the park for the first time. Now, it's super hot in this southern town and by 9 am, we've nearly hit 90 degrees. With that said, we awoke this morning, ate our oatmeal and blueberries and were at the park by 7:50.

I tried to get some good pictures. But it turns out that Little One is a dare devil and I had my hands pretty full without a camera attached to my face. She tried the head first thing down the big tunnel slide. Natural consequences worked in my favor today as she decided that wasn't the most fun thing to partake in. The plastic burns on my own knees because I attempted to fly up the slide to stop her are a tad bit tender as well.

She climbed, she ran, she slid, she chased after the biggest dragon flies you've ever seen. And now she sleeps. Oh, the park. We'll be back.

I saw your sweet momma today at a shower for Anne Grinnell Hall. I told her I felt like you were my neighbor since blog world allows me to keep up with you and your cute family :)
