Did you know that Little One celebrated her 10 month birthday on Friday? Well, she did. And she did so by meeting her very oldest living relative. We headed down to Louisiana for the weekend to spend some time with The Love of My Life's side of the fam.
Grandma is one special lady, having lived nearly 92 years! We just might see her picture on the Smucker's jar on the Today Show.
That Little One is 10 months means that a BIRTHDAY PARTY is indeed coming quickly. Sigh. Where did that baby girl go? We're looking at purchasing one of these as her big gift. I'm worried about not having a strap that goes between her legs, but it's all I can find online. Anyone know where else to purchase a wooden tree swing? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

I got one for the girls at the "Big One"- that flea market that comes once a month to the fairgrounds. It was $50 and MB can still use it at age 6. There was no strap, but there is a bar at the front and they have never fallen out. Just FYI!

CUTE!!! Could y'all put a dowel in the center at the edge to keep her from sliding through?
You could probably add a strap wtih a loop on the buckle end and and cut a slit through the seat and side the strap though it kind like some of the walkers and jumparoo seats attach on the bottom. Make sense?
10 months has flown by!! LO is such a cutie!! I've been wanting to get James a swing also for outside.
Great pics with Grandma! So sweet... And a birthday coming up! So fun! I know you'll make it extra beautiful and special. No idea about the wooden swing - we did plastic. :-)
I am sure Grandma MI loved seeing your little precious LO. ily
I LOVE THAT SWING! I am a huge fan of adirondack style chairs, but Ive never seen a swing for little ones. That is awesome! I agree with the others that posted you could put a strap or something in there even if it were just temporary. Im sure Matt could come up with SOMETHING!
