This and that

We've been a little under the weather. 103 degrees under the weather. A Tylenol Motrin rotation, a lot of cuddling, a Little Tikes mailbox, and the same Baby Einstein DVD 30 times over has done the trick. For the first time in 48 hours, we're fever free.

Enthralled with Baby Einstein. See those red cheeks? Hot as a little firecracker.

Unfortunately, you can't see Little One's shiner. I'm pretty sure it came from a run in with Noah's Ark, but that's just a hunch. Instead of lining up the wooden animals two by two, she'd rather turn the ark over and do push ups on it (we've got her on a pretty tough workout regimen involving crunches, squats, and push ups on elevated surfaces).

We did a little deep cleaning this weekend. With the Rug Doctor. Although a bit pricey to rent, it does what it says it will do. I won't even tell you how disgusting the "dirty" water was. I am a believer. I give it five stars.

The Love of My Life also got some siding up on the garage. No, no, not aluminum siding. Some special kind of concrete stuff. I continue to be blown away by all that my husband is capable of doing. While I spend the same amount of time working just as hard inside, he throws up a structure, beams, trusses, siding and all and all I've got is a few piles of folded laundry (oh, and an 8 month old). Was that a run on sentence?

And just for fun:

Sweet girl! Oh how I wish Reese would sit still for a little Baby Einstein.

We had a run with a nasty fever virus a few weeks ago. It was miserable. I feel your pain!

I hate that the little punkin is sick, but that first pic may be the cutest one I've ever seen! Glad she is feeling better.

So would that Noah's Ark be the one that came from me?? Never did I think she would use it in any way except as a puzzle! Hope she feels better soon!

Katie, question? Did you use the rug dr. on any seagrass/sisal rugs? I was curious how it worked. I need to rent one.
Glad LO is feeling better. She looks adorable with red cheeks though :)
