Oh, friends. We've been hiding from you. There have been so many exciting things going on with Little One, I can hardly stand it. And with these "exciting things" (read: crawling 100 mph, pulling up on everything, and eating anything she can find on my spotlessly clean floor-ha, yeah right), I'm flat worn out. Today is the first day in two weeks that I've actually decided to forgo the chores and just sit.
But as I sit, I see a leaf on the floor that will indeed end up in a certain little mouth. And my pump is staring me in the face, mocking my goal of nursing through flu season. And I spy a nice pile of spit-up-among-other-things clad laundry, waiting to be tackled. Thank goodness I can't see through the wall to the kitchen sink, which is piled high with tiny plastic pieces that allow my baby to eat. This working mom thing is hard, y'all.
But somehow, in the midst of the day to day ins and outs, we find time to enjoy the simple things. And we did today. From story time at Davis Kidd to lunch at Subway with the love of my life, today was good. I praise the Lord for his goodness, and pray that he'd gently teach me to just be still.

Katie!!! She is PRECIOUS! I cannot stand how far we live from one another!!! I am missing out on seeing so much of LO! She is beautiful! I can't get over how much she is changing and how much of you I see in her.
