Well, we made it. To the In-Law's and now back home.
It always goes too fast, especially when you have to load back up in the car to drive 11 hours back home.
Or wait, make that 12.5 hours with a baby.
Little One only had a handful of meltdowns, but as the entertainment, I got a little worn out.
Our visit was just as lovely as always. Would you believe that it was cool? A nice break from that Southern heat.
This is a "spring house."
The stone sides (that you can't see in this picture) were there when they bought the property, but The Love of My Life's dad spruced it up a bit. He used scrap from the dump. The horseshoe is from the barn. It's for good luck. :)
The pups like the country. Do you think they'd miss us if we left 'em there?
We did some 4-wheeler playin', berry pickin', tadpole watchin', tractor ridin', canoe paddlin', porch sittin', some pond swimmin', and a whole lot of relaxin'.
Sweet goodness it was nice.
