Welcome home, love

Our visit to Dixie was loads of fun (stay tuned), but it's always nice to get back home, especially to your own bed (or crib). What did I expect to find when I rolled into town? A camouflage explosion? Muddy footprints throughout the house? Dirty dishes in every room? Nope, nope, and nope.

As I pulled in the driveway, the first thing I noticed was the immaculately cut and edged yard. Nice. As I looked in the window of the back door while unlocking it, I saw the lines on the carpet...evidence of a good vacuuming. Sweet. I opened the door and smelled a fresh, clean scent. I could hear the washer running (he'd put it on the timer so it was nearly ready to go to the dryer when I got home!). Thoughtful. A room by room inspection revealed an emptied dishwasher, no dirty dishes in the sink, a made bed, swept floors, nothing out of place. Impressive. And if that doesn't impress you, maybe this will. The Love of My Life even left two love notes- one for me and one for Little One. Melt my stinkin' heart.

I am one lucky woman...to be married to a man that cherishes my heart and adores our little girl. It couldn't possibly get better than this.
