So I'm going over action verbs with a group of first graders this morning. We went around the table, giving examples of action words and then using them in a sentence. Little Johnny* tells us, "wrestle. Sometimes I hear my mom and dad wrestle in their bed." Sweet goodness.
*I changed the name to protect the parents!
