On Friday, we learned that the weight loss count has gone up to 8 pounds. Yes, people, I've LOST 8 pounds being pregnant. What's this about, "it's normal to gain between 3 and 4 pounds during your first trimester?" The way I see it, starting today, I have to gain at least 11 pounds in three weeks and one day to have reached this degree of "normalcy."
In my concern for this matter, I have come up with a new diet. Cheetos have been a favorite all my life. Lately, they are the only thing that taste good all day long. I'm talking breakfast, lunch, dinner, and my second dinner right before bed. I'm slowly adding more variety to my palette. Chocolate ice cream, cookie cake, mac-n-cheese from school, Reese's peanut butter cups, and kit kats are really doing it for me. I'm just wondering when I'm actually going to look pregnant. Even if I stick my stomach out as far as i can, it shows no resemblance to a growing baby. ***sigh*** I suppose I've got what they call "bump envy."
*I am also eating tons of fresh fruit and trying my hand at vegetables, too. I'm not eating ONLY junk food. My doctor and I have discussed the weight loss. I am to eat what tastes good right now.
