So, we have a little announcement. We're PREGNANT!!! Love of My Life and I are overwhelmed at the way God has blessed us. This little life is a precious, precious gift. We are absolutely delighted. The feelings of relief that come each time I feel nauseated are a reminder of God's faithfulness to his unfaithful people (namely, me). This baby is a miracle. Really, a miracle. While we dealt with the repercussions of my diagnosis, going to the doctor week after week, being poked and stuck time and again, LOML and I have nothing to do with the ultimate plan. God has done GREAT things for us.
We have had our first ultrasound. Our baby (singular- whew) looks perfect. That little heart was just pump-pumping away on that screen at 129 beats per minute. I will be 8 weeks on Friday. Our due date is March 27 which happens to be my sister's birthday. We've all laughed about that date as LOML's birthday, my BIL, sister, and nephew's are all within a week of each other! We can't wait to watch "peanut" grow!
