when i made my purchase from
overstock, i was a little apprehensive. i'd heard that customer service was a bit of a pain and as undescriptive as they were about the actual faucet, i (more so love of my life) was guessing that it probably was a piece of junk. it also occurred to me that it might not be so buddy. what if it was actually pretty decent? for the $50.99 total i paid for the thing, it was worth the gamble. i mean, the bottom of the line at lowe's is like $42 anyway...what could it hurt? when the box came yesterday, i immediately googled the manufacturer's name (overstock didn't list it in the description).
giagni. i had never heard of it before, which i attributed to the thing being the bottom of the line. much to my surprise, i found the exact same faucet for no less than (drum roll, please) $350!!!!!! it turns out that the reason the giagni name is so foreign to me is because it's not one of those models on the wall at lowes. it has its own special spot in the "available by order only" section. aka, "i'm more expensive than you would ever even consider paying so don't even look at me." due to some water hose issues, we had to go to lowes tonight. i found the exact same faucet on display for $493. gosh that was nice. bottom line: if you are even considering a kitchen re-do or just want a nice updated look, and you
kinda sorta like what i picked out,
GO GET YOU ONE!
thanks to the rain (you can't rake the ground to lay the sod when it's muddy), and that i'm married to bob vila, behold the transformation:

*the sprayer was accidentally left out of the box, but it is on its way home.
the only thing that might make it better is a porcelain farm sink and a window above that. sigh. why is it never enough?!
