well, i'll tell you what's wrong. this tree is in our neighbor's yard. and that huge branch that's snapped off, is dangerously lingering over our driveway and yard...a little too close to the house for comfort. LOML's been all over this guy (a really great guy, too) to get some tree work done and last week's wind storm resulted in the broken branch. currently, i am listening to the tornado sirens blaring. this is not good. i went outside and prayed over (under) that branch..."Lord, protect our home. Lord, protect our home." it puts things into perspective...just how powerful God is- that he sent winds strong enough to break that branch clear off, yet protected us all the while.
there are a lot of things in my heart right now...stirring around like winds in a storm. i trust in the Lord, with all my heart, that HE is in control, and HE knows what is best for me. i am so thankful that in that truth, i can rest.
