i have a very important announcement. the Love of My Life informed me that he is content to stick to duck and turkey seasons alone. no more deer hunting. rejoice with me, people! this is a christmas miracle, well a little after christmas, but a miracle still.



above is a picture of the deer on the wall in the office (of course, i drew in the red. thanks, linds, for your inspiration). my niece asks to pet him every time she comes to visit. my plan is to one day make this a nursery. what we do with the deer then, we'll cross that bridge when we get there. at least it's not over our mantel like LOML originally wanted. whew. birds are okay, not great, but i'll settle for them over the big stuff.
