Yesterday

We tricked and treated and had a really big time last night.  One thing is certain...our oldest little owl does not care for others wearing "mask-es."  Oh. My. Heavens.  While I had her convinced that as long as she wore hers, she would have super invisible powers, there was still a fair share of apprehension, hand holding demands, and screeches if I was more than two feet away from her.  Yikes.  Glad we have a whole year to improve in this area.

But boy did we have fun when we got the hang of things.  Bug was a hoot (no pun intended) keeping her mask on her head the WHOLE time.  I couldn't believe it.  And look closely.  You'll see proof that I actually do exist!!
In other news, today is Bug's 11 month birthday.  I am in disbelief.  Utter disbelief!  And a little heartbroken at the same time.  After The Fall, when the woman was cursed with pain in childbearing, it's more than just the birth.  It's the watching them grow and letting them fly.  I'm feeling it these days.
