LO: Where's my baby?
Me: She's eating.
LO: Where?!
Me: Well, right here under this blanket.
LO: Can I see?
Me: Um, sure. Come on over here. This is where I lifted the blanket to reveal what was happening.
LO: Is that your bosom?!
Me: Yes, God created mommies to feed their babies a special milk from their bosoms. Isn't that amazing? And at that, she scampered off to have a conversation with the syringe disposal box attached to the wall.
A few minutes later, Little One came back, lifted the blanket and said, "Yup, there's my baby just eatin' that bosom."

Lord have mercy.

Lord have mercy is right! Those are the 2 prettiest little girls I have ever seen! Love the mouth on littlest.
I'm cracking up. I'm so so happy for you and this life with a 2 year old + newborn. You're an inspiration for my coming months. :) Keep the laughter coming. Thinking about you!
BTW, she is just beautiful and precious!!!! I know you're smitten.
Hooray for nursing! It's one of my favorite things about having a baby. :-) MT is going to be nursing her dollies any day now. That's one of my favorite things about a big sister!
HILARIOUS! Cute blog!
Hahahahaha! Too funny!
Ha! Mine was obsessed with "ma boobies" too. And when I pumped, Lird help us all. She was right up in it watching me get milk for the baby. I've been following you and Jenn since your first round of nursing woes ( production). You are such a great, patient mom!
I am loving your pictures so much! Congratulations! You're much more polite than we are about nursing :-) Caroline says Elizabeth Joy is "eatin' the boob" haha. Sisters are so much fun to watch. Y'all are going to have a great time!!
HAHA!! That is so cute, thanks for sharing!
Katie! I am so sorry that I have not yet responed to your sweet note that you left on my blog! I have read your blog as well as your sisters for a couple of years now and love them! You are both so sweet and so transparent. I am so glad that you are reading along on mine too!
Congratulations on your newest baby girl! She is beautiful and looks so much like her sister already! I pray that they are best friends just like me and my sisters! And oh the stories that a nursing mom can tell...I have nursed in parking lots and dressing rooms all over the city :) I just always hope there are now cameras!
I pray that you are recovering well and adjusting to life with two sweet babies! Congratulations and Merry Christmas!!
hahahahhaha LOVE!
This made me laugh HARD out loud. And my husband, too, when I read it aloud to him. Such fun stories you will have to tell with two little personalities running around now!
Congrats. She is beautiful!
