A little of this

Last week, I surprised the Love of My Life with a 30th birthday trip extravaganza to New Orleans for a few nights. I cannot believe he was really suprised. I was so excited about it that I'd told EVERYONE! We had the most wonderful, most delightful time.

While the eating is divine, the antique shopping spectacular, the people watching amazing, my very favorite slice of time was spent at Cafe du Monde. MMmmm. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

We returned home late Friday afternoon, where LO was enjoying some one-on-one time with the grands. We had just about 24 hours before the 2nd birthday party festivities began on Saturday. We're really living out the saying "burning the candle at both ends."

We had such a wonderful, wonderful time. I highly recommend a little vacay away from the norm to remind you of the precious blessings that await you when you return home.

Fun, fun, and fun.

I'm pretty sure there is a cafe du monde in heaven.

Happy b-day to your man. Mine just turned 30 too.
