Proud

Can I brag for a minute? Just a minute, I promise.

That is my husband (isnt' he cute?). He works as a project manager for a local contractor. He just completed a pretty big job renovating the bar and dining room of a private tennis club here in town. His work on this "phase" would determine signing up another few million dollars worth of renovations. Yes, millions, people...based on the relationship and timeliness that my husband delivers as the manager of the project. And he came through. And that makes me proud.

I'm loving Little One' face. Hilarious
Last night was the open house. We packed up Little One and dropped her at a friend's house so we could rub elbows with some of the city's "finest." I was so proud of The Love of My Life. We walked into the swanky new digs and I could not quit smiling. LOML has poured such effort, time, and care into this project and it showed. It was beautiful, down to the very tiniest detail. Nothing was overlooked. The investors, owners, and even the mayor pro tem were throwing compliments his way. Sincere compliments. And then to hear his boss talk up the work LOML has done was music to my ears.

All that to say I am married to an outstanding man. He is gentle yet firm, precise yet patient, and ever so attentive. And he's got mad skills on a diving board. I am more than proud of what he has accomplished. I'm proud of what a good man he is. And I was so proud to be on his arm last night!
