The "hook" up

Long ago, I stole some shutters out of a trash pile on the side of the road. They sat in the garage for awhile. And then I grew a wild hair and worked on one. I sanded it down, painted it, sanded it, and then applied Myland's wax. I liked the result and it made it's home in our guest room.

What's that? Oh, you'd like to see Little One? Ok, I guess you can sneek a peek at her precious self:

Okay, one more. But only one.

Back to the topic at hand

Skip ahead to present day...
I've had my eye out for a pretty hook for the nursery. I wanted something on which to hang a few of Little One' special dresses. Once this was finished, I had to figure something out because nothing I could buy was suiting my fancy.

Another wild hair grew and I took The Love of My Life to Lowe's, picked out some glass knobs, bought some super crazy wonder hooks and gave him some instructions...and voila! My personal handyman follows directions to a T and certainly makes one fine husband.
