Thinking

I've been doing a lot of thinking (and not much blogging). School is out for the summer. Mama (a teacher) is delighted, my friends from school are elated, and I'm feeling a bit blue about it. That school is out means that we are that much closer to school starting again...and me going back to work. Now listen here, I love my job. And my principal has been gracious enough to let me go part time. I know, I know...I'm beyond fortunate. But my heart is so fearful. These days are running through my fingers like water. Time just got kicked into high gear and I'm going 100 mph- straight back to work. And I think it'll just get faster as three days are spent at school, away from our little one.

On a much lighter note, we're getting more concrete out this weekend and replacing the mud pit with a new slab. Pretty sweet. And just this week, I brought in the first fresh cuts from our hydrangeas. They are beautiful!
