America, we have reached a new low. The media has told me that there is no "must have" toy item for Christmas this year. Despite the fact that a man got trampled to death on black Friday and there were multiple shootings, there is no "it" toy. People are having to get creative.
A first grader offered up the information that he asked Santa for a COFFIN for Christmas. I thought I misunderstood his 6 year old articulation. "A what?" I asked. "You know, a coffin. It's what dead people live in." He saw the look of curiosity on my face and explained, "well, I need it so I can really play vampire." Yikes. Good luck with that one, Santa.
