From A to Z

I posted a picture awhile back that showed the poor decor on my bookcases. Honestly, at the time, I thought they looked pretty good. It's funny the way your eye changes as you expose yourself to different ideas (for instance, chandelier with shades or chandelier without). Regardless, I have addressed the bookcase debaucle (and chandelier issue as well). But only on one side. I haven't purchased enough books to work on the other side yet. The only "objects" on the shelves other than books are things picked up along the way of our life (a driftwood bowl from the market in Charleston; a glass sea urchin found in a shop on King Street, also in Charleston; antlers LOML has found on hunts, a feather from Avery's first duck picked up; a tiny bird's nest my mother gave me, filled with robin's eggs from the yard; and only two pictures!). Oh, and by the way, our walls aren't really that pea green color you see in the pictures. They are actually painted a Porter paint color called Fine Mustard. I guess the camera picks up a different pigment. Anyway, I find them to be much improved, I can only hope that those with a keen eye for design would agree:
