by this point you know that i teach the "slower" kids. today, i was looking at one of my third grader's wednesday folder (all the graded papers from the week before) and she had done this acronym, spelling out our school's name, and listed reasons why she thinks it is so great. for the letter "S", she wrote:
supure with are spelling
obviously, math and reading aren't cutting it. i need to get in some remedial spelling, too.
