i do this thing called "question of the week" for all my students. they have the opportunity to earn a piece of candy for correctly answering a random question that is posted on my bulletin board. i'm hoping that the questions will increase their knowledge of things they should know but don't. in light of our recent president's day celebration and the upcoming election, february's questions have focused on presidential trivia. this week's question is as follows:
"can you name one person running for the next presidential term?"
the biggest debate has been over barack obama. one bright third grader summed it up...
"he looks like tiger woods, and his name is burrito."
tiger woods, maybe. burrito, no doubt.
